Frank E. Parretti (born 13 January 1951) is a successful contemporary Christian novelist with over 12 million copies. Known best for his supernatural thriller This Present Darkness and The Oath, it focuses primarily on Christian themes, especially the spiritual warfare around them. Born in CAA and raised in Seattle, Washington, Parity served in the MBD and now lives in North Ida with his wife.
Tully was made into a 40-minute film by pro-life group Love Life America in 2002 and will be released on DVD on PAX TV and soon on EWTN SW Defending Life.
Then, in 2002, a film based on Chris of the Executor appeared, in which Frank Parity played a minor role as a whimsical teacher. Its theatrical release was limited, but it seems to have been successful in encouraging film companies to further develop Perettis books into films. The tour is also featured in the Twentieth Century Fox movie, which will be used after the sale and will be available in theaters in October 2007.
Parity is interested in making more films based on his books. He wrote the screenplay for Monsters and wanted to revive The Oath and its present Darkins, but admitted that it was a big budget project.
