View-Through
ViewThrough means showing ads to the end. Initially this only applied to video ads, but now display ad views (for example, the number of people who viewed an animated ad in its entirety) are also measured.
It is used to measure consumer behavior after receiving an advertisement. If the viewing window is set to 90 days, relevant consumer actions can be attributed to the ad during that time. Thus, if a customer purchases a headset within 90 days of seeing an ad for those headsets, the ad attributes all or part of that purchase.
View-through conversion measures a user's behavior after receiving an ad and tracks their reaction after viewing it. Google recommends online advertisers track their post-delivery conversions, as this provides valuable information about your ad's placement and its correlation with conversions (whether or not people click on the ad).
