Tim Hortons Raisin Tea Biscuit
Directed by Tim Rtons Scuits? 3
Does anyone know how to make the same flakes that they sell to the Rtons team? My husband loves it
updateIn fact, the scoots they use to make the rules are exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much:)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons water
3 cups of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted oil, cut into pieces and let cool.
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons milk for fat
Raisin tea
Preheat oven to 375 F. Soak raisins in water for 5 minutes and remove excess water. One side left Add flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Cut with your finger until only a few parts are visible. Add 1 cup milk until mixture is good. Add raisins.
Place the dough on a light surface. Divide the dough in half and make 2 rounds, smooth by hand until 3/4 inch thick. Cut each round into 8 pieces. Place the flakes on a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease with the remaining 2 tablespoons of milk. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the dough is evenly distributed.
Do not mix the tea flakes too hard otherwise they will harden.
Everything about Tim Rtons (including cookies and donuts) is frozen. The quality is very R. Why not buy a high quality flavored flake recipe?
