I get dial-up TV on my TV through rabbit ears. I get a reasonable hint, but no. I can sit back and watch the signal strength indicator jump between 0 and 99 in seconds. Does anyone know why there are so many fluctuations in dial tone?
Dial-up TV cannot be received from the reception. Above, the mark can float and you will see snow. It is on or off the display. There is no middle ground. This is the nature of the dial. Try installing an antenna on the roof. It will work better.

On days when the television signal is normal, the ping plan can boost your antenna signal. First, there are two signal pathways, one above ground and one above ground for an airplane, which are reflected back to your antenna. The movement of an airplane causes alternation between turning on and off two signals. The signal will be partially canceled and partially amplified. As a result, image and sound rotate in and out rapidly. Dial tone significantly eliminates this problem.
Indoor TV antennas (one in a rabbit's ear or attic) will not work properly because a cut wall or roof of a building will transmit 30 to 50% of the signal. Also, the wavelengths of different television channel signals vary. The larger the channel number, the longer the wavelength. This means that, for optimal reception, the antenna must have different element lengths to accommodate different wavelengths.
Many dial-up lines reduce their transmission power because it is assumed that the low-power dial-up signal, if up, will go to the ID. Now they know it's not true.
If the stations are far apart, the antenna must also have n (the ability to increase the signal strength when sent to your station). The longer the antenna, the better the performance. Rabbit ears (even if enlarged) do not have proper front, back and rear compression or length and may not be long enough as increasing pitch increases signal strength.
The solution to many of these problems is to install a large antenna with a rotor (router) and amplifier.
The best option is a tripod on the roof instead of a free standing tower.
A tower can cost $ 1,000.00 or more and requires a depth of six feet, a minimum of four inches of gravel and three feet of concrete.
If you have an old television, you will also need a dial-up converter. I've noticed that new dial sets remember channels when your antenna points in one direction, but the ones before turning the antenna in different directions and re-scanning will be deleted. This means that if you rotate the antenna to another channel, you may have to scan again each time. So I recommend a dial-up converter that remembers all the channels. The RCA DTA800B is one of them, but it does not have the DTX9950 dial stream function.
