The battery does not indicate which wire is positive and which is negative. Both threads, no and red. A lead has auto and corrosion. Not in other lines. What are the benefits? I don't want to ruin it by pushing it back.

See if the wires are colored. = Negative red = positive.

The side side is the positive side, if the battery is long then the positive side is the diameter and then the negative side.
