Cover it with baking parchment paper and then place another flat surface over that (use books if you have nothing else). Now sit something heavy on top – like a pile of books or magazines. Leave overnight so that your wallpaper can absorb moisture from the steam through its back layer.
Method 2 – Solvent Method
The solvent method is usually done with a spray bottle or an aerosol. You simply need a spray bottle with some water, ammonia, or rubbing alcohol and then you just have to spray it onto your freshly painted surface. Let it sit for about five minutes, and then wipe off any remaining residue. It’s recommended that you test out in a hidden place like under your kitchen cabinets before going full force onto your walls. This can damage both low-quality and high-quality paint jobs so be very careful about where you choose to use it.
However, if all else fails and using other methods hasn’t worked for you, there are worse things out there than using solvent; such as sandpaper or a razor blade. These will most likely ruin your paint job completely but at least they’re not toxic! So, give them a try if you want to remove that sticker but don’t think anything else will work.
The best way to get rid of stickers from glass is by using a hairdryer. Heat one end of a spatula (or something similar) and then slowly slide it between two pieces of glass while applying heat to soften up the glue underneath.
