Web Widgets

Web widgets are self-contained, reusable web applications that anyone with the appropriate copyright can embed on third-party websites. They do not require compilation for a particular site or transfer of control of the site to the party providing the widget. Widgets use Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs to communicate with web resources.
