If a plug appears in the line coming out of the pump, check the outlet and plug in and see if the pump is working normally and empty the tank (when the pump is working properly Be ready for spraying). If it works, you know there is a problem with the output and the pump is OK. Otherwise the pump may be damaged.
Cleaning the pump while cleaning the outlet is probably not a bad idea (rinse it with water in the sink).

It is not uncommon for the float to stick, but when it does, the pump runs for a few minutes while the pump shuts off. I needed to make sure there was more water in the pump than usual, which was a problem. On the other hand, there is another possibility that the delivery line of the pump is full, i.e. it is too small or there is too much delivery pressure inside the pump, as a result of which it is stopped longer than usual.
