There is an Xfinity public Wi-Fi connection that I use because I get a strong connection with my use and I don't even have internet (I'm connected to a friend's Xfinity account). On Friday I try to connect to ts on my computer but after a while I say get IP address ... it says IP cannot be configured. So I changed my IP address to static, which allows me to connect to ts, but I don't have internet access. I can still connect to another Xfinity public tss without interruption. Is there anything else I can do? Or is it a problem with the TS router itself?

I suspect the problem is that some tees are too far to connect.

Return to dynamic / DHCP mode.

Then type this command:
ipconfig / update
This can solve the problem as long as you stay connected.
